Play based therapy for younger children to explore there internal world,  through play and the therapeutic relationship.

Youth counselling provides a safe and contained space for young people to explore their experiences and begin to make sense of and effectively manage the day to day challenges.

Family Counselling

Family Counselling looks at a family system, and their relationships to each other, rather than the individuals. It allows family members to express and explore difficult thoughts and emotions safely, helping them understand each other.

About Me

I am a child and family therapist providing therapies for children, young people and their families.

In addition to my individual client work, I also offer clinical supervision for children's therapists/pastoral staff and mental health consultations to educational establishments.

My approach is intercultural, being mindful of the importance of race, culture, beliefs, values, attitudes, religion and slanguage in our everyday experiences.

My Approach

I trained at the Tavistock and Portman in 2011 with the psychodynamic modality being my core approach. I have undertaken Continuous Professional Development at various institutions over the years, including at the Anna Freud Centre, where I trained in Mentalisation Based treatments and the British Psychotherapy Foundation, where I did my Supervisor training. As a certified yoga teacher, I have also trained in the application of Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY Workshop), embodiment work for those who would benefit from body awareness work, through a relational experience of having a felt sense of self, in a safe way (CPTSD, DID, Dissociation).
